I fully understand why a lot of people don't like this song: too 80's comercial pop and totally the opposite of what we think she represents. But I do like this style since it shows she can do very mainstream music...and well. Of course, if her career depended on this kind of music she wouldn't have become what she is today...

I think it's pleasant enough, Like Barbara I turn off Blue shoes but I don't this one. I think its cheeky, cheesy and I like it. As Jos said above though, if this were the type of Music she was turning out all the time she wouldn't be where she is today. Welcome bit of light hearted change though.
As I've said before, it's not one of my favourites but I've come to like it anyway. The thing I don't understand is why has Katie been asked to do this? (Unless the person in charge was a Katie fan, which I can totally understand! )

In my opinion, that's her worst song so far. The lyrics are banal and all this "oh yeah" and "oh my" in between are a pain in my neck. And the melody is absolutely weird, especially the short guitar solo in between which I absolutely can't stand.

I agree completely. And the music is terrible. I just can't stand anything that sounds like that.

It is not one of my favourite but in my opinon it is not so worse. I am also a big fan of the original version and back in 1981 I bought the vinyl single of Robert Palmer.

Yes, that´s my opinion, too. But I wouldn´t say that it´s the worst song, in my opinion it´s the 2´nd worst one. There´s another very worse song, but I don´t tell you again the name of the song I mean

Having said that we can close this topic now. No, I’m joking. I don’t like this song at all, it’s probably one of the worst of my whole CD collection even though it’s sung by Katie. I can’t stand it, honestly.

No Jo's Room, you are not alone I like this song very much, because: 1) It's a very catchy song (and personnally I can't resist ) 2) It's a very different song in Katie's repertoire, but she proves she can sing Rock very well 3) In this song,Katie's voice is perfect,irresistible...and really "rocky";she makes (as very often) miracles.
In (nearly) the same style I am fond of Straight to DVD
