I think here of songs like:

Kosmic Blues
Anniversary song
Joan of Arc & Jack the Lad
Spaceman
Love Cats
I put a spell on you
19th Nervous Breakdown
It's all over
How sweet it is to be loved by you

Also to some extent: Lucy in the sky with diamands

As well as the songs like

Heartbreak Hotel,
Moon River
Blowin' in the Wind

she only played in TV shows.

I really Love them. It gives her concerts a special touch. In the moment, I'm going crazy, with Kosmic Blue during the 2006 tour it was Spaceman. Really great selection by Katie. What do you think???

A song I love live more then on CD is the 'Mockingbird Song' :)

And of course 'Blues In The Night' but at the current concerts I missed Justins harmonica at this song :(

I love them all, except the few I haven't been able to listen to yet, but I except it'll be soon and that I'll love them as well :D

My favourite would probably be "Kosmic Blues" as it's the only one I've really seen (twice), but "Joan of Arc and Jack the Lad" is brilliant as well :music:

I Do Believe in Love was a song that didn't really grab me on the CD but the way Katie plays it on the piano on the current tour is just phenomenal (as I keep saying!) :approve: :approve:

If I understood it this topic is for songs only sung live, Wolfgang and David..? :)
Love Cats is one of the few where Mike sung as well when he was on the piano, isn’t it?
Out of the mentioned my 3 favourites are probably Joan of Arc, Kozmic Blues and Fancy.

Yes, I thought that to start with but it seemed to be widening-out rather!
I don't like it when others sing on Katie's songs. Either MB on Love Cats or anyone on OTRA.
Kozmic Blues is the clear winner from those three.
What about Too Much Love Will Kill You?

I've not listened to much of his music, so I don't know what he like with other things, but I don't think that his voice and Katie's voice went very well together.

"Love Cats" and "Joan of Arc...", only these two (at Croydon concert, I mean).

Yesterday I was wathcing to the OTRA DvD.

Joan of Arc & Jack the Lad is amazing. For me it is a pitty, that this great song has never been released as B-Side or on Album. Also I put a Spell on You is such a powerful song. I love, when first Henry starts an than Lisa, than Jim etc. until Katie comes. Great, absolutely Great

Why not? :o Maybe you should listen to his performance of 'I get a kick out of you', maybe this will convince you. :( I'm proud to be a...? A...Cullum fan? Somehow that didn't sound right. :e: I have never really seen Katie live before, only on video. I enjoyed the performance of 'Faraway Voice' live.(on video)

That would be my ranking of these particular songs.

PS: aren't you people forgetting the Georgian songs??? From what I know they also only been performed live.

O.K. I take the yellow card.

But for me, this is such a Katie classic, that it is unbelievable for me, that this song has never been released.

I absolutely LOVE Joan of Arc and Jack the Lad.. Kozmic blues is also one of my all time faves.

Speaking of Joan of Arc. Does anyone what she says after "We were kids with dirty faces". I always thought it was "On a road heading somewhere", but then I googled the lyrics and it came up with "On a road hidden somewhere"?
