Gonna blame it on the moon,
Didn't want to fall in love again so soon.

I was fine, feeling strong,
Didn't want to fall in love with anyone.

Now that it's gone too far to call for a halt,
I'll blame it on the moon
'Cause it's not my fault;
I didn't think that this would happen so soon
So I'll blame it on the moon.

I was happy to be free
Didn't think I'd give myself so easily.

Guilty feelings in the night
As I wonder is it wrong to feel so right.

Now that it's gone too far to call for a halt,
I'll blame it on the moon
'Cause it's not my fault;
I didn't think that this would happen so soon
So I'll blame it on the moon.

Now that it's gone too far to call for a halt,
I'll blame it on the moon
'Cause it's not my fault;
I didn't think that this would happen so soon
So I'll blame it on the moon

So I'll blame it on the moon

A superb track!!!!

Didn't Katie mention on the OTRA dvd, that this was her favorite track written by Mike Batt?

Then why didn't she sang this one during her last tour?

Ok, that was a few years ago, she now has too many good songs, she can't play them all :(

Yes she did say that and I love it too. The moon crops up in quite a few of Katie's songs actually:

Blame it on the Moon
Moon River
I Think it's Going To Rain Today
I Do Believe in Love
well that's 4 anyway

also a lot about the sky...
Lucy in the Sky
Downstairs to the Sun
Somewhere over the Rainbow
If the Lights go Out
What a Wonderful World
I Cried for You
Just Like Heaven
9MB
Thank You Stars
Kosmic Blues
Stardust
Spaceman..........

Do I have a case?
Sorry, gone off topic. :roll:

One of my all-time favourites. Great composition and superb string arrangements!!! :roll: :roll:
Even my brother, who is not a fan, likes it!!!! :approve:

Yes, she should play this on tour more often...but then again, she kind enough not to spoil us too much and thus probaly reserves it for special occasions. :lol:

Absolute amazing, how Katie sings that song. Also for me the best song, Mike has ever writen. The best version, I have ever heard is on the OTRA DVD.

Katie, please play that song live once more.

I can't find the OTRA DVD anywhere :cry: :cry: :cry: Does anybody have two copies of it? :rofl:

Otherwise I totally agree, it's a great song Mike has written here :)

Maybe my favourite song from the first album, with Call Off The Search and Faraway Voice. I'd love to listen to this wonderful masterpiece with the current voice of Katie, in a version at least as amazing as the AVO session Call Off The Search :love: It will give such a great colour to the song.

Yes, I like the performance on the second DVD at the Royal Albert Hall. In my opinion it is much better than the version of the album. :roll: :roll: :roll:

That would be amazing. For me, BIOTM is an all time Katie classic, worth to be played in every concert.
