As I have said before I really, really like this some.

@Loco. Had she been still alive, could you not have seen Julie London doing a cover of this at one of her nightclub appearances.?

I was taken by surprise by this song today. I was in a train and I had my mp3 on and it started playing SITSH and I completely forgot where I was and what I was doing. I just thought: "Wow, you know, this really is a great song, why don't I listen to it more often?" and you probably guessed it: I forgot to get out of the train at the right time...

That's the reason, why I never listen to Katie in trains

But this is true. The songs is absolutely amazing, when you are 100% concentrated in it. It is certainly not easy listening

For me none of Katies songs is "easy listening". I have to be deeply concentrated when I'm listening to Katie. I always get angry when I find Katies music among "easy listening" such as in "Swiss Board Entertainment System" or last weekend in Harrods in London

So do I! :)
At first, SITSH was a bit boring for me, but one evening when I fall in my bed, I tried to listen it "deeper" and now, I like it more and more after every listening. :)

That is exactly the reaction, I wanted to see. I'm getting angry too, when Katie is put into the "easy listening". The best way to listen to katie is with the earphone plugged in at the highest volumen, forgetting about the world, 100% concentrated in her divine music.

For me it was the same. At the first listening, I was not impressed by SITSH, but now I love it. It is such a beautiful song. And you only get that treasure, when being 100% concentrated.

I can't help thinking that this track was originally recorded for Pictures but never made the cut. Which I feel is a pity as in many ways it is more in keeping with the original concept than many of the songs finally chosen. The feeling of loneliness in a hotel is so well conveyed by Katie. The more I listen to this the higher up my list it climbs

If i heard songs like that in the bar i wouldn't leave it :)

I love the atmosphere of this song. And as far as the pianist from 'Casablanca' didn't play this kind of blues it would really fit any pianobar. I want one to be created and Cracow and i want this song to be singed there!
